Dear Parents Assalam O Alaikum,
Alhadulillah, we had really active day today, 52 kids were in attendance and I saw almost each and every one of the kids participating actively in classes today. Jazakallah for continuing to send them prepared and on time to Tahir Academy.
I just wanted to share a few things and keep you informed of some activities.
We introduced CREST bucks today. Some of your kids got them today. We also let the kids know that they can exchange one CREST buck for candy and three CREST bucks for a toy.
We introduced the standard lunch menu today and informal polling on the boys side suggested that kids mostly liked the lunch.
We are also sending back graded homeworks, please review your child’s folder and check the graded homeworks and their new homeworks for the upcoming class.
Just a reminder, due to the mosque construction we will continue to hold the physical activity for kids at the Hoblitzelle Park at 10:00 on Tahir Academy days.
This week you will get an invitation to view a google spreadsheet that will have the class notes and homework for each class. In case your child misses a class or you have a question about the homework, you can always look that up on the spreadsheet.
You will also get an invitation to a WhatsApp group for TAD parents sometime this week. We are creating this group to make sure we are able to communicate things quickly to you. If you have any suggestions or recommendations, please reach out to us directly and don’t post them on this group.
I also want to make sure I remind you of certain certain protocols for Tahir Academy Dallas.
We cannot check-in children without their parents. Even if they come to attend the physical activity, one of the parents needs to be present to check them in personally between 10:45 -11:00. This is for the safety of our children.
No child is allowed to leave the mosque unless they are checked out. Since our mosque is an active construction area, please make sure you let your children know not to walk outside the main door without their parents. We will also enforce this rule more strictly inshallah.
As always, if you have any questions, comments, thoughts or suggestions please feel free to reach out to us. Also keep Tahir Academy staff and teachers in your prayers for their dedication and outstanding commitment to making this a great experience for kids.
