Q: What is the foundation for Tahir Academy?

The proposal to expand these Sunday School system across USA was proposed in National Shura 2013 and has been approved by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V. Once a proposal is approved, we consider it as a directive from the Khalifa and we strive to abide by that understanding that it is good for us.

This will operate under separate funding and guidance from National Tarbiyat Department. Multiple Jama’ats have started Tahir Academies across the USA.

Q: How do you ensure discipline?

A: Ensuring discipline needs support from parents. However, Tahir Academy has established policies that we will be enforcing to keep discipline. Some of these are as follows

Enrollment: Only students who complete enrollment procedures shall be admitted into the class. This allows students to be placed in the right class that matches their age and level of understanding.

Check in / Check out: Students once checked in, will be under the supervision of the Academy until they are checked out. Parents cannot pick up students without proper checkout.

Attendance: Students are supposed to come on time. Late comers will be marked tardy. Any absence without supporting reasons will be marked unexcused. The attendance policy sets limits for tardiness and absences which will be adhered to.
